Omar Sharif / عمر الشريف born with the name Michael Demitri Shalhoub, on April 10th, 1932, in the city of Alexandria in Egypt, is an Egyptian film actor.

Omar Sharif debuted in Egyptian film in Wadi al-Sira Fi in1954, Youssef Chahine signed by filmmaker, and and the film will be remarked in 1964, in within the Festival of Cannes.
